Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil

Coconut oil is derived from the meat of mature coconuts found primarily in tropical regions like the Philippines, Indonesia, and India. It is made by drying and pressing the coconut meat to extract the oil.

When applied to the skin, coconut oil serves as a natural moisturizer, deeply hydrating and leaving the skin soft and smooth. It possesses antimicrobial properties that can help fight certain skin infections and promote healing. Additionally in soap, it helps to create a rich and luxurious foam that effectively removes dirt and impurities from the skin. It also adds hardness and stability to the soap bar, enhancing its longevity.

While coconut oil offers benefits for skin hydration and antimicrobial support, it may not be suitable for everyone. If your skin tends towards oily or is acne-prone, applying coconut oil directly to your skin may clog pores and worsen breakouts.
